Overseas Education

A record 1,335,878 Indian students have been enrolled in higher education programs overseas in 2024. This marks an increase from 1,318,955 students in 2023 and 907,404 in 2022. This information was presented by Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh in the Rajya Sabha. With this India now sends the highest number of students overseas as many good students are unable to get admissions in the university of their choice. Apart from academic results, overseas education also widens the students perspectives, improves their communications skills and develop self-confidence.
